    Ray,

Congrats on the new digs and ride. You guys seem really happy.

I’d like a copy of your new JMT planning book. Very generous offer. I’ve been studying the loop options in the Red Peak Pass area, inspired by you.

Good to hear about the new edition. The first was my primary source for my 2013 thru hike.

    Ray,

Can’t wait to read the updates! Your book and blog have inspired me more than any other source of JMT knowledge to tackle this trail. While I have met with personal obstacles over the years that have delayed my own thru-hike, every time I read your blog I am more committed to doing the entire trail. I love the Sierra Nevada mountains, and I can think of no better way to see them (except, perhaps if I somehow were able to find the time to hike the entire PCT). Thanks for keeping up the evangelism, I’m definitely a disciple!

    Hi Ray,
Thru hiked the JMT this past July and had a momentous life experience. Your book was invaluable to to me during the planning stages and I also read it each night on the trail. I would love the new edition if possible! Thank you for your devotion to the trail and all things outdoors!
