    I think it must be most enlightening, entertaining and magical, would be knowing and or learning the rich history dating back to the native americans and their trek each fall to winter out in Tuolumne Meadows and how the various peoples contributions AS YOU walk the very same trails they did……how very humbling indeed! Love your history lessons Ray! Keep them coming! Other great early contributions in the days of John Muir are Glen Dawson, Jules Eichorn and Norman Clyde. Today our goal is to have the lightest backpack…I heard Norman used to carry a small anvil to repair his boots on the trail. Talk about
    being prepared!
