    Hmmm. this might solve a mystery I have been trying to solve for a few years now. My wife was startled one night while driving home at 4am near our house in the Santa Cruz mountains. Ten miles from the nearest beach. While driving uphill after crossing the one way bridge over San Lorenzo River in Brookdale my wife was frightened by the sudden flight overhead of a creature she described as a prehistoric flying bird. This may solve that mystery
